Connect with a Live Person?

Thursday, May 13, 2010, 12:05 PM [General]

For as many years that I have worked as a Customer Service Representative, I have neglected to realize how frustrating it is to be on the other end of the line (the customer's end).

When you call the customer service phone number to any of the companies to whom you are paying money in exchange for goods or services, it seems now that the standard expectation is to be dropped into a large pool of the dreaded AUTOMATED PHONE TREE system.

You're filled with frustration as the automated voice asks you to "speak more clearly" or "i'm sorry I didn't get that".  It becomes overwhelming and a feeling of discontent seems to swarm over you.

You think to yourself.... "all I want to do is to pay my bill" or "can't i just get a real live person?"

Then you suddenly realize that customer service is a dying art.  No one is setting the standard for customer service anymore.  It's a very disappointing feeling.

Alas I am glad to be affiliated with a company that takes pride in making it easy and quick to connect to a live person who is attentive and eager to assist you with your needs.  After all, without the customer, the company would not exist.  Without the customer, there would be no need for us.... and who are we?  Only the best customer support staff you can find.

We are the front line of Web Hero, and we take pride and passion in our job!
