As 11 1/2 years have passed since I been a Webmaster, I am only wondering what is next in store for me. I have been trying to come up with ideas on a longgevity website I should build but am running into a brick wall. I know the problem why I cannot come up with an idea. I am avoiding failure at all cost. I have been successful with every website I have ever developed. This all started in 1996 and I still have yet to fail so as the years grow I am only being more careful with the websites I choose to create so that I do not have my first failure.

I've created websites that generated xx,xxx/mo in profits. Managed websites that averaged 250,000 page views a day.

I'm not into a lot of the "money makers" websites. It's not my style. I have stayed in the entertainment industry because it is what I love. I can relate to it. I know I can venture off into a market I've never done before and become successful, but the problem is I don't have the motivation to do so. I'm sure if I had a friend who was going to start let says for an example a ringtone website, and I have never done one before that I would if asked to, competively create a ringtone website at the same time and we will see which of the two is more successful by the end of the year. Weird, I know. But competition drives me. Unfortunately I do not have a friend who would be willing to do that lol.

I love creating websites, it's my career. I have been doing this since I was a kid. But as I continue to support my family financially I'm going to have to change my approach from wanting to create a popular website to creating a website that earns x,xxx/mo. This will be the most difficult transition for me in life. The reason being is that the only reason why I started creating websites was because it was fun, not because it involved money. When I started making money it was just an added bonus to what I loved.

Well that's enough of my rambling. I guess I will post an introduction blog later down the line. Just had to write what was on my mind before I start doing work again. Later.
